About

The Minneapolis Novas is the girls high school hockey team made up of students from the Minneapolis Public high schools. This is the team’s  15th year of existence. The Novas are  members of the Tri-Metro Conference and the Varsity competes in postseason play in section 4AA.

During the season the Novas players help promote girls hockey in Minneapolis by putting on clinics for youth and park board players. Several players also assisted a sled hockey program on Sundays throughout this past season. On and off the ice the Minneapolis Novas strive to be positive representation of their city and sport.
